Transport workshop was conducted by AkzoNobel under Project Mission Salamati in Mount Carmel School, Mohali on 9-10-2018. Road safety education plays an important role in shaping the attitude and behaviour of children and young people, ensuring that they become responsible drivers, passengers, pedestrians and cyclists.
Today road accidents have become very common due to vehicle collisions and ignorance of proper road safety measures. A PowerPoint presentation was shown to the drivers and the lady attendants regarding safety methods and consequences of unsafe driving .They also highlighted the road safety signs and signals and also how millions of lives can be saved with road safety measures.
