The English Speaking Activity of Class 2 of Mount Carmel School, Mohali was conducted online. The
students were given a choice between the topics ‘My Favourite Game’ and ‘My Favourite Season’. The
students prepared the topics very well and used wonderful props and placards. They enjoyed and
distinguished themselves as exemplary speakers. The purpose of the activity was to encourage the
students and to help the young speakers overcome stage fright and acquire new knowledge confidently
for their day-to-day lives. The students were judged and were given scores on the basis of content,
delivery, diction, accuracy, and props used. The students were encouraged and appreciated by the
teachers Mrs. Virinderjeet Kaur and Mrs. Vimmie Gambhir.
