The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held in Mount Carmel School, Mohali. The event took place with an array of Sports activities aimed to engage all the young athletes to participate. The programme commenced with the School Assembly followed by the March Past. The contingents of the four houses marched proudly. The School Flag was hoisted by the Director of the School, Mrs. Kulwant Kaur followed by an oath taking ceremony along with the House Captains and all the Sports Leaders.

The school organised a range of fun activities such as Teddy Race, Clown Race, Penguin Race and Kites Race alongside more formal track and field events such as Long Jump, Shot Put and Track races.

A dance performance set the tone for the rest of the events for the seniors. Once the Races began, the air was filled with cheering and tones of encouragement for the young athletes.

The day showcased the skills and exercises practised by our young sports enthusiasts. This occasion was a chance to present the talents of the students which are necessary for their holistic development.

The winners of all the Sports events were awarded with medals by the Directors of the School Dr. Charles Samuel, Dr. Annie Charles and Mrs. Kulwant Kaur.

Rajneet of Class  X was declared the Best Girl Athlete and Harshdeep Singh of Class X was declared the Best Boy Athlete of the day.
