Shoelace tying is a fundamental life skill that promotes independence and fine motor development in young children. This activity took place on 6th October, 2023 for the children of classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery and K.G.
Each classroom was organized into small groups of children to facilitate one-on-one guidance. The teaching approach involved a step-by-step demonstration of shoelace tying by the teacher, followed by guided practice with the children. Teaching kindergarten children how to tie shoelaces is a valuable and rewarding activity. It not only equips them with a practical life skill but also boosts their confidence and fine motor skills. The success of this activity highlights the importance of hands-on, interactive teaching methods in early childhood education.
