In a splendid display of patriotism and unity, Mount Carmel School, Mohali celebrated Republic Day with pride and fervour under the guidance of Our Respected Founders and Directors, Dr Annie Charles Samuel and Dr Earnest Charles J Samuel. The Principal, Mrs. Jasleen Kaur Sabharwal unfurled the tricolor flag as beats of the National Anthem filled the whole environment with patriotism followed by the Guard of Honor from the marching contingents of the four houses of the school. A melodious medley of patriotic songs by the School Choir infused the surroundings with patriotic zeal while students brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through their speeches and a play to instill duties of being a good citizen while exercising their fundamental rights. The Principal, in her address to the students and staff, urged everyone to do their bit and conscientiously work for the nation. The program ended with the message to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individual.
