Co curricular activities form an integral part of the curriculum in Mount Carmel School, Mohali. Keeping this in view a Declamation contest was organized for the students of classes VI to X on 8 th May, 2019. The competition aimed to promote the skills of effective public speaking. The participants enthusiastically expressed their views on the topic “Plastic and the Environment”. The participants competed with a talented pool of contestants from all the four  Houses. The students were judged by Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur and Mrs. Jasbir Kaur. The students were assessed on the basis of subject, posture and gesture, pronunciation, memory etc. The Principal appreciated the participants and motivated the students to keep up their efforts.
