Students of Mount Carmel School, Mohali fared very well in the SOF Olympiads and won laurels for the school.
January 21, 2019Mount Carmel School, Mohali celebrated Christmas with a festive spirit on 20 th December at the school premises. The Celebration started with the morning assembly. The children sang Carols like “ O come all ye faithful”, “ Joy to the World” and “We wish you a merry Christmas”, etc in a very festive mood.
The Kindergarten students dressed in their party clothes enjoyed thoroughly and imbibed a message of loving, caring, sharing and respecting all as was preached by Jesus himself. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Ruth Thomas encouraged the students to emulate the teachings and noble thoughts taught by Jesus Christ. She also said that we should not be afraid of anything and trust God for everything. A special Puppet Show was organised for the kindergarten students on this occasion which they enjoyed a lot. The children decorated their classes very enthusiastically.
No flame cooking competition was conducted for the students of classes I to IX. All the students made very delicious and nutritious items and enjoyed the competition in a very festive mood.
