 Athletics

The students of our school participated in the 12th District Athletic championship organized by the District Athletic Association S.A.S Nagar Mohali at Shahid Kanshi Ram college of Physical Education on Sep1, 2017 and brought laurels to the school by bagging medals in various events. Rajneet Kaur, a student of Class X won a silver medal in zoom(under-16) race and Bronze medal in 100M race. Jaspreet Singh of class VIII won a silver Medal in 100M race(under 14 age group).

Badminton

It was a proud moment for our School as Hemant Dhawan of class IV and Keshav Chaudhary of class VIII participated in the Badminton Open Tournament which was organized by the Badminton Coaching Centre and won laurels for the School. Hemant Dhawan bagged the first position in under 11 age group and Keshav Chaudhary bagged the first position in under 15 age group. They both were awarded with trophies and certificates.

Carrom Tournament

The students of our school participated in the 18th Raj Kumar Babuta Memorial Prize Money Carrom Ranking Tournament 2017-18.The Tournament was organized by Chandigarh Carrom Association from 15 October to 17 October 2017 in St. Stephen’s School, Sector 45, Chandigarh. Rianna Virdi of class III won the third prize in this tournament. She received a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 300. Mehul Chawla of class III won the 4th position in Girls and Boys Cadets Category. Rippudaman Singh  of class V won the 7th position in the sub Junior Boys Category. Bhagyesh of class X won the 8th position in Junior Boys Category.

Kho Kho Tournament

The girls of our School participated in the Mohali Zone Inter School Kho Kho Tournament for girls under – 14 age group held from 27 July to 29 July, 2017 at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Phase 3 B 1, Mohali. They won the 3rd position in this tournament.

An Inter-School Declamation Contest was organized by HASS (Health Awareness and Suvidha Society ) with the support of AkzoNobel and Traffic Education Cell, Mohali under the project ‘Mission Salamati ‘ wherein students of different schools of the tricity participated and  presented their views on how our roads can be made safer for all. Students shared as to how youngsters can contribute to make the road safer. Neha Singh of class X stood third in the competition and made the school proud with her efforts. It was an educational program for all the students as, apart from the academic education, social education is also important.
