The students of class II of Mount Carmel School participated in an activity “A visit to our neighbourhood”. The students were taken to a Fire Station, Police Station and Sampark Centre to make them aware of their functions and their importance for the citizens. At the fire station the officer incharge explained about the fire fighting system, the fire brigade and how this department functions round the clock to meet any emergency. After that the students visited a police station. They were also shown the lock up where some prisoners were there and were told why they are behind the lock up and how police helps the society to make it crime free. The students were very curious and took interest in each and every detail. It was valuable and great learning experience for the little ones.
