A Rally on ‘Say No to Plastic’ was conducted by the students of the Science Club and Eco Club of Mount
Carmel School, Sector 69, Mohali on 9 th July 2019. The purpose of this rally was to create awareness
about the negative effects of using plastic amongst the shopkeepers and the people and thus bring
about reduction in plastic waste.
The students distributed handmade cloth bags and paper bags in the shops of Sector 69, Mohali and
explained the positive aspects of using these biodegradable products. The students participated
wholeheartedly and enjoyed doing this activity.
