Mount Carmel School Mohali, celebrated its 6 th Annual Sports Day on 22-11-18, Thursday. The event was graced by the worthy Directors Dr. Charles Samuel, Dr. Annie Charles, Mrs. Kulwant Kaur and the Principal Mrs. Ruth Thomas .The Event commenced with Prayer and a Welcome Speech by the Sports Captain (Girl) of the school. This was followed by the March Past. The House Captains – the Flag Bearers and the Vice Captains, led the contingents of the distinctive houses Tennyson, Milton, Keats , Wordsworth and Shakespeare. Srusti A.Patel the Sports Captain (Girl) administered Oath to the council members wherein they pledged to play the game with true sportsmanship and fair play. The school choir sang the melodious school anthem following which the Colossal gathering witnessed
another sound of high voltage track and field events of 100mts, 200mts, Relay Races, Pom Pom Race, Pryamid Race etc. This event encouraged all the students to enjoy and show case their talents. The prize distribution followed the sports events. All the winners were felicitated with trophies and medals. After the prize distribution , the directors Dr.Charles Samuel , Dr. Annie Charles , Mrs.Kulwant Kaur and the Principal Mrs.Ruth Thomas addressed the audience and thanked everyone for their support and encouragement that lent charm to the event. The event concluded with the vote of thanks given by Karan Arora the Head boy of the school and the National anthem.
